WHO'S THAT GIRL?

My name is Karolina Gendek. For years I worked as a fashion stylist in Poland (collaborating with MTV Poland, MTV HD, different fashion magazines, worked as stylist for commercials of Nespresso, Playstation or Motorola). Working for fashion industry was really a "dream-come-true" situation. But then I cheated the love for fashion with ....italian boy. I moved to Rome for love, but my passion for clothes didn't vanish. It is why I opened my fashion blog K come Karolina, created with love for fashion to stay in touch with the industry became also a perfect tool for my mother to check up with me (and control if I'm eating enought, like it was difficult in Italy).

In a light, and sometimes ironic way, I write about fashion, trends, shopping, my dreams and my life in the Eternal City. Now my blog has more than 1400 followers all over the world (mainly from Italy, Poland and USA). I started collaborations with some of the online magazines writting articles about fashion and life in Italy.  K come Karolina, the fashion blogger that divides her time between Warsaw and Roma, is ambassador of her favourite brands and among them TOY G, Subdued, Oroblu, Luisa Spagnoli, McArthurGlen Designers Outlets, Romwe and HI-END.

Mi chiamo Karolina Gendek. Per anni ho lavorato come fashion stylist in Polonia (ho collaborato con MTV Poland, MTV HD, varie riviste di moda, ho realizato i costumi per le pubblicità di Nespresso, Playstation e Motorola). Lavorare nel sistema moda era realizzazione dei miei sogni. Dopo ho tradito la moda con...un ragazzo italiano. Mi sono trasferita per amore a Roma, ma la mia passione cercava uno sfogo. Così ho avuto l'idea di aprire il mio fashion blog K come Karolina, nato dal amore per la moda, ideato per non perdere il contatto con il fashion system, ma anche per dare a mia madre uno strumento di controllo (così non si doveva più preoccupare se mangio bene e se sono dimagrita troppo :P).

In modo molto leggero e, a volte, ironico, scrivo sulla moda, sugli ultimi trendi, sullo shopping, sui miei sogni e le mie avventure nella Città Eterna. Adesso il blog ha più di 1400 seguaci di tutto il mondo (sopratutto Italia, Polonia e Stati Uniti). Ho comminciato a collaborare con varie testate online scrivendo articoli sulla moda. K come Karolina, una fashion blogger che si divide tra Varsavia e Roma, è diventata anche ambasciatrice di marche come TOY G, Subdued, Oroblu, Luisa Spagnoli, McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, Romwe e HI-END.
