work in progress

We went to ikea yesterday, we actually spend there all day. Even though we moved to our apartment two year ago it is still work in progress. I hate to live to finished houses, where there's everything, perfectly designed by an architect, perfectly finished and perfectly filled up with furniture. Our houselives with us. It is a never-ending work in progress, like our relation, our live. It changes, transforms and adjusts to us. We fill it day by day with our story, our photos, things we find during our trips...I need to show it to you one day, you can see how it looked like the first days we moved here.

Siamo andati da ikea ieri, beh, a dire la verità ci abbiamo passato tutto il giorno. Anche se ci siamo trasferiti nel nostro appartamento due anni fa è ancora un work in progress. Odio queste case finte, dove c'è tutto, perfettamente disegnati da architetti, perfettamente rifiniti e perfettamente riempiti con mobili. La nostra casa vive con noi. E' interminabile work in progress, come la nostra relazione, nostra vita. Cambia, si trasforma e si adatta a noi. La riempiamo ogni giorno di nostra storia, di nostre foto, di cose che troviamo durante i viaggi...ve la devo mostrare un giorno. Qua potete vedere com'era quando ci siamo trasferiti.
