time flies

Yesterday I spoke with my best friend Ania and we discovered America: time flies. Yeah, we got in a bit nostalgic mood when we found out that it wasn't exactly last year that we had finished our high school.  It was actually ten years ago and even though we still feel twenty-two we have just celebrated our last twenty-something birthdays. Shocking! Well, we all face this strange fact of flying time in a very different ways. I found in a bottom of my wardrobe my DrMartens that I bought during my first week of high school and that I wore in all the important moments of my school life and put double dose of eye-contouring cream. 

Ieri ho parlato con la mia miglior amica Ania e abbiamo scoperto l'America: il tempo vola. Beh, siamo diventate un po' nostalgiche quando abbiamo scoperto che non era esattamene un'anno fa che finimmo il liceo.  E' stato dieci anni fa e anche se noi due ci sentiamo ancora ventiduenni quest'anno abbiamo appena festeggiato l'ultimo compleanno da ventenni. Shoccante! Beh, affrontiamo questa verità assoluta del tempo che vola in tanti modi diversi. Io ho tirato fuori dal fondo del mio armadio i miei DrMartens che ho comprato la prima settimana di liceo e che indossavo nei momenti più importanti della mia vita scolastica e ho messo doppia dose della crema per il contorno occhi.
